Make sure to warm up
One of the main reasons for sports injury is that we don’t warm up ourselves properly before any sports or even before a workout. A warm up is basically a small exercise we have to do to prepare our body for the event or the sport that you will be attending. By warming up you will be able to raise the heart rate and warm the inner muscles and even connect the tissues. It also will improve your mobility the entire functionality of the entire body and the movements. So At the end you will be suffering less from a muscle strain which will cause a lot of pain. There are certain ways to warm up as well. You can simply use the same type of sport equipment. You will be using for your sports or even for your exercise. You basically have to do some exercise in a very low speed for about 10 min and gradually increase the speed.
Try to cool down
Instead of ending up in a sports injury clinic for a muscle sprain after a game you can simple try to cool yourself down and get rid of the waste by-products which comes after the sport session you attend and get back to the normal heart rate and breathing. Since most of the people do neglect the cooling down session and instead just wash off with cool water. However. This is one of the key tool that we all need to do.

When it comes for maintaining the flexibility it is one of the most important thing you need to do before any sport. Since this can prevent any injury that can happen due to poor flexibility.
